This is the only one of these I’ve seen. I photographed it at an auction in 1994 where it brought $275. Another, by the same name, sold the year before for $425. It’s 6 1/2 inches tall and in green with very nice iridescence on the top two-thirds. I have no idea who made it. A green flared vase by this name sold in 2005 for $220.
In 2013, I received a photo from Holly Smith that showed her dark aqua or teal Starbrite. However it was not iridized–but at least we know that it exists without the iridization.
I also received an email from Bradley Katz who reports that he found out that Starbrite vases were made by the Fayette Glass Company in Pennsylvania about 1911. They closed down in the early 1990s.
