Beaded Shell – Dugan

Additional Information

The Beaded Shell molds were originally owned by Dugan. The water set and covered butter have been reproduced by Mosser.  Crider and LeVay also iridized some old tumblers (they should be signed).

The mug has been reissued as a new mold with “In God We Trust” added to the mold used as club souvenirs for the ACGA (American Carnival Glass Association). Imperial made the first one in 1971, Westmoreland made the next 4 for 1978-1981 conventions. The base of the mug is imprinted with the location and year of the event.

Our definition of a reproduction is a pattern using the same mold (or a mold very similar to the original) that could confuse collectors.
