Pattern Description: Base to an oil lamp.The stem has panels coming down to a base ringed with flowers.At the very edge of the base is a ring of dots.A rare variant has three medallions of ladies heads inside the base while another has no exterior but roses inside the base.
A five petaled flower with leafy vines circles the entire bottom. A scarce variation has medallions with Ladies heads underneath the base. The Wild Rose kerosene lamps are made in three sizes, small (5″-5 5/8″), medium (6″-6 3/8″) and large( 6 1/2″-7″). The base size can range from 5″ to 7″ while the height of the lamp can range from 8 1/2″ to 11″. The largest size is considered the most difficult to find. There are even some examples of the Wild Rose pattern done with a goofus treatment.
