Pattern Description: Candlesticks with scroll work at the top and bottom of the stem. Base is topped with radiating panels and the sides of the base have vertical ribs.
Similar Patterns: Riihimaki Firefly
Research shows that these candlesticks were made by a Portuguese glass company; these candlesticks were found in a 1901 Marinha Grande catalog. There are two sizes. The tallest measure about 8 1/2” tall and have a base about 4 1/2″ wide while the smaller candlestick measures about 6″ high. Another name for these candlesticks is Patrician. This pattern also is found in non iridized colors.
