Ruffled Rib
By Carl & Eunice Booker
Beauty may be in the creativity of an item. Tonight we’re showing four of our “Ruffled Rib” pieces. There are some differences in who might have made these items, but we’ve always thought they were made by Fenton. Some writers feel differently. Whoever made them did a most interesting job. The first is the Ruffled Rib with three sides up.
The second shows the piece with three sides rolled over.

The third piece shows the sides up with two sides slightly pinched in.

The last piece is a rosebowl, which, of course, doesn’t show any ruffling.

We don’t know if these pieces come in any other shapes, but it seems that about anything is possible in the “creative” glass business.
