Five Hearts, Dugan

Similar to Dugan’s Starfish which is found in compotes and bonbons. Five Hearts bowls, especially those that are pulled up and flared, are sometimes referred to as compotes. Above center is a beautiful, rare lavender bowl, courtesy of Janet Knechtel, and an amethyst bowl with typical shaping. There are only a few of these rosebowl whimsies known (on the right), all in marigold.
