This rarely seen plate measures approx. 10 1/4 inches from tip to tip. The only three confirmed examples are shown here. The pattern has four groups of heavily sculpted roses covering the outer portions of the front. The center has bands with the greek key design interspersed with bands of small flowers. These bands are repeated on the back. The maker is unknown. The top left one is marigold and is in a private collection. The next one has a smokey amber iridescence and sold at a 2003 auction for $17,500. It sold again in 2009 for $21,000. The third one (front and back) was purchased off eBay in 2017 for $8,100 and has smokey iridescence as well.
