Pattern Description: Alternating panels with wide dividing indented sections. The alternation panels contain a fully opened thistle flower, the next has a side view of the flower pod with leaves going down. Rayed center.

Paneled Thistle is an old early American pressed glass pattern. The pieces are all signed with the ‘bee'. Some are on iridized pink glass. The chop plate that sold was 10″ across, the pattern is exterior (interior is plain). The sawtooth edge is made up of graduated sized teeth. The tumbler has an unusual base with small knobs on the end of each panel (looking like feet).
