Garden Path Variant, Dugan

This beautiful, busy pattern is most easily identified by the 6 pointed ‘stippled flower type' center. The outer edge is surrounded with plumes and winged hearts and most have the a soda gold pattern on the exterior. Older books listed two patterns (Garden Path & Garden Path Variant) and it is assumed that if there is a version with less detail (Garden Path) it would have been the prototype for this pattern.

Stippling/Stippled: An artistic effect on the mould that results in the blank space in the pattern appearing to have a rough, sandy appearance.
