Smooth Rays, Westmoreland

[column-third-1][/column-third-1][column-third-2][/column-third-2][column-third-3][/column-third-3]

Unlike Dugan and Fenton Smooth Rays patterns, the rays on Westmorelands extend from the very center to the edge. This is similar to Fenton’s version, though the edges of the Fenton pieces are unique. Any pieces in blue opal or marigold on milk glass will be Westmoreland. This rare bowl (above right) in amethyst opal sold for $85 in 2002.
