Year(s) of Production: 1909-1913
Pattern Description: Large curled shapes cover the exterior of the punch bowl, base and cups, forming repeated Ss. Beading outlines portions of the shapes.
When this pattern was first produced by Dugan the original name was National, and it was not iridized. The punch bowls are massive and usually have 12 cups. There are toothpicks and tumblers in this pattern as well. The toothpicks are believed to be contemporary, but at least some of the marigold tumblers found are thought to be old (a few have etching with initials and 1910). Another shape is a creamer made from a punch cup (sometimes referred to as whimseys, but too many exist for it to have been an unusual shape).
