About Northwood Good Luck Prototype
A simpler design than the standard Northwood Good Luck, this early example is possibly the result of reusing the Jockey Club advertising plate theme. Centered above the molded GOOD LUCK is a cross-shaped spray of small leaves with a 5 petaled flower in the center. The entire outer edge of flowers and berries (seen on the standard Good Luck pattern) is missing on this version. Measuring 8 1/2″ across, they have either a PCE or 8 ruffle edge treatment, a sawtooth edge and sit on a collar base. The exterior is BW back. (see diff-proto-reg-goodluck)
