Golden Oxen Mug

These 5 1/2-inch tall marigold iridized mugs were undoubtedly commercial items intended for taverns and perhaps benevolent associations. One expects that they could have been produced around prohibition, or they could be from the utilitarian era (plain, useable patterns) which probably started post 1930. They are quite easy to find in antique malls and shops and on eBay. They usually run from $5-$15.
